At the August 24, 2020 TCTAB meeting it was announced the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding has been approved for the use of fare reimbursement for the duration of the funding source. Funding is provided at a 100-percent federal share, with no local match required, and will be available to support capital, operating, and other expenses related to COVID-19.
Effective, September 1, 2020, elimination of all fares and passes, COVID-19 related Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitizing of transit vehicles.
