Policy and Procedures for Service Criteria for Complementary ParaTransit

The agency shall provide complementary ParaTransit service to origins and destinations within corridors with a width of ¾ of a mile on each side of each TRAX fixed route. The corridor shall include an area with a ¾ of a mile radius at the ends of each fixed route.

Title VI Notice to Public

Title VI is a section of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requiring that 'No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under an program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.'

Tehama County Transit Agency Board (TCTAB) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under any of its programs, activities, or services on the basis of race, color or national origin. All persons, regardless of their citizenship, are covered under this regulation. In addition, TCTAB prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in its employment and business opportunities.

Title VI Program Complaint Form

Any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin by the Tehama County Transit Agency Board (TCTAB) or TRAX may file a Title VI complaint by completing and submitting TCTAB's Title VI Complaint Form. TCTAB investigates complaints received no more than 180 days after the alleged incident.
