CDX Wireless Integrated Public Safety Communications Project is a proactive initiative with the core objective of revolutionizing communication systems to enhance public safety. Within this multifaceted undertaking, we take great pride in presenting three seminal reports that illuminate our strategic progress. The “Alternatives & Recommended Solution Report” examines pioneering radio-system technologies, providing insights into their potential to enhance the capabilities of two-way radio communications systems. This document is complemented by the “Inventory & Needs Assessment Report,” a comprehensive analysis meticulously cultivated through diligent site visits, interviews, and surveys. This analysis delves into the existing Tehama County Radio system, focusing on the intricate landscape of two-way, voice, land mobile radio systems, integral to entities like the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, Public Works, and the Tehama Rural Area eXpress (TRAX). Lastly, the “Integrated Public Safety Communications Project Supplement” introduces new perspectives gained through a Request for Information (RFI) for Transit Workforce Management – Automation Applications (TWM-A). Developed by CDX Wireless in collaboration with the Tehama County Transit Agency Board, this supplement unveils intricate details from vendors regarding their offerings, network compatibility, and budgetary considerations.
